JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–itel, a data and technology company that optimizes the property insurance claims process, today announced an organizational restructure that will deliver broadened, integrated solutions to the property insurance industry. The company, now known as ‘itel,’ has consolidated two independently operated business units—Renovar and Housing Headquarters—under the itel brand.

Through the restructure, itel’s claims management solutions have grown to include cabinet, furniture, and millwork restoration, services previously delivered through the Renovar name, as well as temporary housing for policyholders, formerly offered under the Housing Headquarters name.

Coupled with itel’s traditional materials testing and replacement cost data and expertise, the new itel is a key solution provider for accelerating cycle times, managing cost, lowering dispute risk, and much more.

“By bringing together the offerings of itel, Renovar, and Housing Headquarters, we’ve become the source for certainty for insurance carriers, adjusters, third-party vendors, and homeowners,” said Brian Matthews, CEO of itel. “As the industry’s trusted independent intermediary, our goal is to make the claims process frictionless and mutually fair for everyone. This restructure strengthens our ability to serve our customers and drive new innovations for the industry.”

“itel’s integration of its business units under one brand will enable it to significantly enhance its property claims solutions,” said Aaron Brunko, president of property estimating solutions at Verisk. “Like Verisk, itel recognizes that bringing analytics and expertise together from across their organization, and going to market as a single brand, accelerates and expands their digital transformation and makes it easier for customers to do business with them. We look forward to working together to help our mutual clients achieve their operational goals with greater speed and precision.”

Renovar and Housing Headquarters’ existing services to insurers and adjustors will not be condensed; the claims management solutions available will only expand to include the offerings of all three companies. Leadership of both business units remain at itel, broadening the company’s expertise and experience in the market.

itel is attending and exhibiting at the PLRB Claims Conference & Insurance Services Expo in Orlando March 19-22. Several team members and materials will be available with more information on the restructure and its benefits to the industry.
