Scheduled ITEL Training
ITEL will come to your office, meeting, store or tradeshow to provide concise, relevant training to property adjusters, contractors, and other professionals who work in the claims industry. Plus, many of the classes offer free Continuing Education Credits.
In addition to being helpful to adjusters who have little or no knowledge of what to look for when handling flooring claims, these presentations can provide new tips to experienced adjusters. Classes are offered free-of-charge to ITEL’s customers with an audience of 12 or more students on a scheduled basis.

Flooring Classes
- Flooring Basics
2 hours
A thorough review of carpet, vinyl, laminate and wood flooring terminology and how certain specifications can affect flooring claims (e.g. delamination and installation issues, durability, pricing). The class includes an ITEL review including suggestions on how ITEL can assist with a variety of flooring issues, disputes, etc. All material from the Residentail Carpet Basics and Hard Surface classes is included.

- Residential Carpet Basics
1 and 2 hour classes available
A review of carpet specifications (e.g., fiber, styles, face weight, etc) and how they affect insurance claims. The 2-hour class includes a 20 minute ITEL review.
CEC:2 hours of CE credit in NC (2 hour class); 1 hour of CE credit in FL, TX (1 hour class)
- Hard Surface Basics
1 hour
A review of vinyl, laminate, wood and tile flooring terminology, construction specification and main issues that can affect flooring claims. The class concludes with a brief ITEL process review.

- Flooring Claims Overview
1 hour
A condensed version of the two-hour Flooring Basics class.

Siding and Roofing Classes
- Siding and Roofing Claims Overview
1 hour
Includes a brief description of basic siding and roofing terminology and a review of claim challenges affecting adjusters and contractors including discontinued stock, matching issues, finding Like Kind and Quality prodcts, repair options, etc. The class concludes with a brief 10 minute ITEL program discussion and Q&A.

- Roofing Claims Overview
1 hour
A review of basic roofing terminology and materials (and how they affect claims), discussion of common roofing issues such as discontinued stock, matching issues, finding LKQ and repair options, and a brief review of ITEL's new material matching and locating service.

- Siding Claims Overview
1 hour
Basic siding terminology, types of siding, common claim issues and a brief review of ITEL's new siding material matching and locating service and how to use it.
