ITEL Acquires SidingMatch and RoofingMatch
ITEL is proud to announce the recent acquisition of SidingMatch and their sister company, RoofingMatch!
This partnership will enhance ITEL’s matching services and product libraries, which will now represent almost 100% of siding and roofing products, both past and present. Our customers will now benefit from Siding Match’s vast discontinued product information database, as well as ITEL’s technology-driven process, next day report turnaround on all tests, and one-stop shop for flooring, siding, and roofing tests.

When does the change take effect?
Beginning June 1st, 2009, ITEL will process all of your siding and roofing evaluations out of their Jacksonville, Florida lab. We anticipate a seamless transition since our services are very similar. Reports will continue to be delivered by e-mail and fax.
Can I still use SidingMatch supplies?
You can use SidingMatch supplies through July 1st, 2009. If you use SidingMatch shipping labels there will likely be a 1 day delay on the receipt of your sample. To avoid delay, begin using ITEL shipping supplies as soon as possible.
How do I get ITEL supplies?

Can I still use US Mail for sending samples?
Yes, but ITEL's standard shipping method is UPS (2nd day or overnight), which cuts down on delivery time by 2 to 3 days. Click this link for the supply order page or call 800-890-ITEL(4835). If you decide to use USPS, please do not use Siding Match's old pre-printed shipping labels. Instead, make sure to send the sample to:

Will the report format stay the same?
ITEL’s report format is visually different from what you may have seen from Siding/Roofing Match, but the most important parts will stay the same. We will tell you:
- The product name of your sample and if it’s still manufactured
- If there’s an exact or similar match available
- Where to get it

Why doesn’t ITEL rank each spec like Siding Match does?
Rather than rank each specification match, ITEL instead rates the product match overall and describes the reason for the rating. ITEL has received very good feedback on our reports and we trust you will find them helpful.
Will ITEL still produce videos?
Yes. If requested, ITEL will produce a short video describing the siding or roofing match on a completed test. Videos can be requested online at this link or by calling our Customer Service Team at 800-890-ITEL (4835).
Will ITEL still be renting samples?
Sample rentals will be available on a limited basis in June. This service is seldom used and ITEL is in the process of determining the best way to fill this niche need in the industry. Please click to contact ITEL Customer Service online or call 800-890-4835 with any rental questions.
How long will samples be saved?
ITEL keeps material samples for 90 days unless a longer period is requested on a claim-by-claim basis.
Will ITEL be going on-site after catastrophes?
ITEL provides training and supply distribution at catastrophe sites. Just call ITEL at 800-890-ITEL to let us know what you need.
Why did SidingMatch sell?
The owners felt it was time to pursue other interests.
Turnaround Time and Invoice Payment
Next day turnaround (SidingMatch’s expedited service) is standard for all tests and covered by the regular test fee. If the siding you sent is discontinued, we’ll search for discontinued siding and current comparable matches at no extra charge.
