ITEL's Roofing Match and Location Service
Do you need to match roofing for a repair or replacement?
ITEL will help you match the appearance and quality of the undamaged roofing so that roofs can be repaired instead of automatically replaced. Matching roofing provides fair settlement for the carrier and insured by making sure the repaired roof is the same or Like Kind and Quality to the original roof.

Fast results
As with all sample testing, ITEL will provide the shipping envelopes and labels to make sure your sample is delivered and your results are quickly returned. The turnaround time for shingles is the same as flooring and siding: you’ll receive your report next business day after we receive the sample. For concrete, clay, slate, composite, wood, and metal roofing, additional research time may be added for custom product searches. Since you’ll know the availability of replacement roofing once the report is complete, the roofing contractor can quickly obtain the needed material for repair.
Easy to understand reports
To help you get the most from the service, each ITEL roofing report will contain:
- The type of roofing, original manufacturer, line, and manufacturer’s color name of the original product
- Current availability of the original roofing
- If the original roofing is no longer available, the closest Like Kind and Quality matches to both the specifications and appearance to the original will be listed
- Custom remanufacturers will be listed if available on discontinued clay and concrete tiles.
As with flooring or siding, each ITEL report will be conveniently delivered by e-mail or fax.
