Mark Mullins Bio

Mark was one of the founders of ITEL in 1993 and became owner of the company in 1995. He retired from the chairmanship in June, 2008. His extensive business experience also included serving as President and COO of Paul Davis Systems, Inc., owning a manufacturing company, serving on the Board of Directors of six corporations and performing in several capacities for numerous enterprises during more than 45 years in business.

Community involvement with civic, charitable and church leadership played a significant role in Mark’s life. He served on the Board and had been President or Chairman of the local Salvation Army, United Way, YMCA and Senior Citizen Center. He had also served on the boards of a local hospital, private school, and Children’s Home Society. In two communities outside of Jacksonville, Mark was the President of the Economic Development Organization, whose objective was to attract new businesses to the area.

Mark was a member of the Mandarin United Methodist Church in Jacksonville and served on the Board and Finance Committee. Mark was extensively involved with the Trinity United Methodist Church in Gainesville where he served on the Administrative Board, Executive Committee of the Board and was Chairperson of the Staff Parish Committee and a Stevens Minister.

Mark passed away on February 17, 2011, survived by his wife Judy, three children, and six grandchildren. Though he retired from the chairmanship in 2008, Mark will always be part of the ITEL family.
