How to Collect a Carpet and Pad Sample

1. Cut a 10” x 10” carpet sample, preferably:
   1. the cleanest, least damaged piece you can find,
   2. from a low traffic area such (back of a closet or under a raised piece of furniture) and
   3. with no heavy matting or residue.
      

If sending a pad sample, collect the cleanest, least damaged 6” x 6” piece (this will be tested free-of-charge if sent with the carpet sample).

Once you've collected the sample, fill out the ITEL Test Request Form.
